About me
Did you know that the website logo is made of the letters in my name?
"Tim" is the name given by my English teacher in elementary, and it constitutes the upper half of the logo.
Hi, I'm Tim, thank you for visiting my website!
From Elden Ring to Stanley's Parable, I enjoy a wide variety of games. Genres are secondary to me as they are meant to be challenged, and the important part is whether a game can evoke unique emotions. I think games can be the best medium to help people to understand each other better.
As a kid, I got into games because of Three Kingdoms, a period in Chinese History. Since then, I have been making and balancing custom cards and characters to make base games more engaging. Also, I became a big fan of card and board games both physical and digital. In my college years, I made a board game called League of Martyrs, a satirical game about the "griefing" behavior in MOBA games.
Did you know that my given name is equal to the number 59?
天/"Tian" means sky, which is represented by "yang, yang, yang" in the ancient Chinese text, I Ching.
泽/"Ze" mean lakes, which is represented by "yin, yang, yang".
As yang represents 1, and yin 0, the name becomes 111011 in binary or 59 in decimal.
In addition to games, I like reading books and watching videos on various subjects, which helps me to unify my knowledge and find inspiration. Also, I enjoy manga and movies. Other times, I like to think about random ideas and make boring things a bit more interesting, such as hiding easter eggs on the About Me page of my portfolio website :)
Did you know that my family name is literally a stick figure?
吴/"Wu" does not have a specific meaning nowadays, but it was the name of one of the kingdoms in the Three Kingdom period. Around three thousand years ago, it is literally a stick figure with one hand up, meaning talking loudly.
Hey! I can't decide what my favorite game is, so why don't you do it for me?
My favorite game is

and you should play it too! :)
